Entire Hindi film industry is shocked with the sudden demise of legendary actor Dilip kumar. Dilip was known to the generations of film goers as Tragedy King since his popular role in Mughal-E-Azam. On July 7, 2021 actor Dilip passed away at 98. Actually on June 30th, he was admitted to the Hinduja Hospital, where his health was not that bad. But on July 6, he was shifted to the ICU (Intensive Unit Care) of the Hinduja Hospital, a non Covid 19 facility.

The veteran film actor of Indian film industry Mr Dilip Kumar breathed his last on July 7, 2021 at 7. 30 in the morning at Khar Hinduja hospital after a long and protracted illness. The Mughal-e-Azam fame actor had been in hospital from the previous month. The entire family was hoping for the best and thinking he would get better and come back home after winning the battle of life. But the almighty does have some other plans. The family friend Faisal Farooqui revealed the news of the demise of the actor and posted from Dilip’s Twitter account, “With a heavy heart and profound grief, I announce the passing away of our beloved Dilip Saab, a few minutes ago. We are from God and to Him we return.”

The wife of late legend Saira Banu conveyed to fans that the megastar’s health is improving. And, requested to pray for Mr Kumar, so that he gets discharged from the hospital. She penned on the Twitter account of Dilip on July 5, “We are grateful for God’s infinite mercy on Dilip Sahib that his health is improving. We are still in hospital and request your prayers and duas so that Insha’Allah he is healthy and discharged soon. Saira Banu Khan.”

The family has officially announced that the Burial will be held July 7, 2021 at 5:00 PM. at Juhu Kabristan at Santacruz Mumbai.  Several celebrities, friends, family and fans are grieving the loss and will be joining the actress Saira Banu to mourn the loss of the great performer of this era. The unbearable loss for the entire nation and the end of an era with the sudden demise of the actor.
