Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal tied the knot in December 2021. Soon after her wedding , she announced joining the Vijay Sethupathi-Sriram Raghavan’s film ‘Merry Christmas’. The film also features Tamil actor Radikaa Sarathkumar. Katrina’s photos from the sets of ‘Merry Christmas’ went viral on social media platforms. In the viral photos , Katrina is seen wearing a printed floral summery dress while Radikaa Sarathkumar is in the cop uniform. ‘Merry Christmas’ is Katrina and Vijay Sethupathi’s first collaboration. Katrina announced this movie alongside Vijay soon after her wedding . Even , she expressed her excitement about the film on social media . She wrote,”I’ve always wanted to work with Sriram Sir, He is a master when it comes to narratives that showcase thrillers and it’s an honor to be directed by him. . Super excited to be teaming up with Vijay Sathupathi.”
Coming to the details of movie,’ it happens to be Raghavan’s first ever collaboration with Vijay Sethupathi. The film will be produced by Ramesh Taurani’s Tips Industries in association with Matchbox Pictures Pvt. Ltd. ‘Merry Christmas’ is slated to be release in theatres on 23 December , 2022. Katrina is quite dedicated towards her work as she started the shoot for the films soon after her marriage. “The first schedule is being extensively shot in Mumbai. It was earlier expected that Katrina would resume shooting for Tiger 3, but now we have learnt that she will resume Tiger 3 after completing this film’s first schedule.” said by sources close to the actor.
Katrina was last featured ooposite to Akshay Kumar in Sooryavanshi, helmed by Rohit Shetty .
