“Gaddi Jaandi Ae Chalaangaan Maardi” is an Indian Punjabi- language comedy, entertaining and family drama movie. It is all set to theatres on September 28,2023. The movie is directed by Smeep Kang and produced by Gunbir Singh Sidhu, Manmord Singh Sidhu and Sandeep Kumar Bansal. This movie is released under the banner of White Hill Studios. The script of the movie has been written by Naresh Kathooria. The main lead role plays by the most popular Punjabi singer Ammy Virk along with the comedian Jaswinder Bhalla, Binnu Dhillon, BN Sharma and Honey Mattu. A new female face has been shown in the film as the lead role named Jasmin Bajwa.
Ammy Virk plays the role as Happy, who belongs to a middle class greedy family. His family decided to marry their son for the dowry. Happy took a fake MBA degree for married a rich girl. He is searching a job. Happy meets his colleague, Pooja (Jasmin Bajwa). He starts a fast- food shop to impress Pooja. After sometime they fall in love with each other. They wanted to get married but Happy’s family lays a poor condition and they want dowry, including a car before marriage. But Happy devises a scheme to obtain dowry from Pooja’s family without having it appear to be dowry. The ending of the story is determined by how Happy manages to control this pandemonium and fix the flaws in his ideal wedding schedule.
Overall, the movie “Gaddi Jaandi Ae Chalaangaan Maardi” is an entertaining family drama movie. Ammy Virk is in his comedic prime in the movie as he juggles his love for pooja, whom he meets at work, with the demands of his father’s greed. Jasmin’s skilled acting and inherent ability to convey emotion on screen indicate that she has the potential to become a top actor in the Punjabi film industry. In order to preserve and further the comedy, Binnu Dhillon is also a crucial actor. Jaswinder Bhalla, as usual, is a fantastic comedian with his recognizable style. The music of the movie is melodious and enjoyable. It has so many hilarious enjoyable moments.
This film sends a strong anti-dowry message to society. Dowry should never be accepted or given.
