“Sikhs are legendary, salute to the service of Sikhs, these were the words of Amitabh Bachchan, the most loved star of Bollywood when he contributed rupees two crores to Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Covid Care Facility,” said Manjinder Singh Sirsa, who is the president of Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management committee and also the national spokesperson for Akali Dal. He continued, “While Delhi was grappling with oxygen, Amitabh called me almost Daily to enquire about the progress of Covid Care Facility. He often says you do not worry about the money, just keep doing this so that we can save as many lives as much we can.
