Jigra is an upcoming Hindi-language drama movie. The movie is directed by Vasan Bala and produced by Karan Johar, Alia Bhatt, Apoorva Mehta and Somen Mishra under the banner of Dharma Production and Eternal Sunshine Productions. Featuring Alia Bhatt, Vedang Raina and Aditya Nanda in the lead roles. The movie is scheduled to release in theaters on September 27, 2024.
Jigra Synopsis:
The plot revolves around a brother and sister. A sister bravely fights for her Jigra! An animated Alia is shown standing in the middle of a road with her head hanging in dismay in the movie’s motion poster. As the rain drops on her, the voiceover in the background says, “Dekh, dekh mujhe. Meri rakhi pehenta hai na tu, tu meri protection mein hai. Tujhe main kuch nahi hone dungi, kabhi bhi.”
Jigra Star Cast:
This is Alia’s first starring role in a Bollywood action feature movie. She was most recently seen in action in her Hollywood debut, Heart of Stone, in which she portrayed a negative role with Gal Gadot.

Overview:
In the much-awaited film directed by Vasan Bala, fans will have to wait until September to see Alia. In addition to this movie, she is working on Love & War and Jee Le Zaraa, both directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Meanwhile, Jigra is Vedang’s second movie; The Archies, starring Zoya Akhtar, was his first release of the previous year.
