Parmish Verma is an Indian- Punjabi actor, singer, model and video director. He has directed several punjabi songs video. He became popular after directing the music video of Ninja’s song “Thokda Reha”.

Birth, Place and Education:

Parmish Verma was born on July 3, 1990 in Patiala. His hometown is Sunam, Sangrur. He completed his schooling from Yadavindra Public School, Patiala. After completed his collage, he went to Sydney in Australia. In Australia, he did jobs like- washing utensils at a hotel and also did the diploma in Hotel Management. But he failed in this course and come back to India and trying his luck in acting and direction.
He was a average student in studies but was good in co-curricular activities like- theatre, writing and debates.

Family :

Parmish was born in Hindu- Sikh family. His father, Dr. Satish Verma is a professor, writer, poet and also a theatre artist. His mother, Mrs. Paramjit Verma is a professor at Punjabi University, Patiala. He has two siblings. His sister’s name is Sherry Rana and a younger brother, Sukhan Verma.
There’s a special reason behind his name. His name is the combination of his parents name, “Param” + “ish”= Parmish. It comes from Paramjit, his mother’s name and “Satish”, his father’s name.

Wife and kids :

Parmish was married to Geet Grewal, who is a lawyer and political leader in Canada, on October 19,2021. In October 2022, they were blessed with a baby girl named, Sadda.

Career :

Parmish Verma started his career in 2014 as a video director through directing the punjabi song “Zimmewari Bhukh Te Doori”, which was inspired by his own life struggle in Australia. His another popular punjabi music videos are, “Aadat”, “Gallan Mithiyan”, “Gal Jattan Wali”, “Thokda Reha”.
He made his debut in the punjabi movie “Punjab Bolda” in 2011. In 2017, he played a lead role in the punjabi movie “Rocky Mental”. After that he appeared in the films “Dil Diyaan Gallan” and the punjabi film “Singham”.
Parmish also made his singing debut with the song “Le Chakk Main Aa Gaya”. Later he became famous through his veryb popular songs like- “Gal NI Kadni”, “Sab Fade Jaange”, “ Kache Pakke Yaar”, “Shada”, “ Kloian”, “Meri Marzi”, “ Aam Jahe Munde”, “ No More Shada”, “ No Reason” etc.

Controversies :

• Parmish got a verbal fight with the Sikh preacher, Gurjant Singh. Gurjant criticized him by commenting on his music video , religion and his background.
• Parmish was also alleged of copying the concept of songs of other artist and used in his video. And Jagbani TV displayed his video under the title of “Parmish Verma Exposed”.
• On April 13,2018, Parmish Verma was attacked in sector 91, Mohali by known shoter along with his friend Laddi. He was rushed into Fortis Hospital due to some injuries. A gangster, Dilpreet Singh Dhahan took responsibility of the attack, while the police was investing the case. On April 15, Dilpreet was arrested by the police of Haryana.
