AP Dhillon, the international Punjabi Canadian Rapper creates history for the first time a punjabi artist performance at the stage of Juno Awards 2023. AP Dhillon was invited by superstar Avril Lavigne as “global phenom”. When Dhillon started with his “Summar High” song, the punjabi crowd cheered and hooted for him. Dhillon won everyone’s heart and has made dance on his unbeatable songs. He has created history by performing the first ever Punjabi artists at the Juno Awards.
AP sang his fame singles including “Brown Munde”, “Insane” and “Excuses”. All his songs are trending and smashing the charts on Apple Music & Spotify.
Dhillon told CBC News that performing at the Juno Awards in a “feeling you can’t buy with any money”. He also said that I moved
here with two suitcases and one dream and that was just to do something that can inspire people back home”.
“So I’m really excited to perform here and I’m happy that finally this brown skin is getting recognized”, He said.
