Maidaan,” the newest movie starring Ajay Devgn, received a mediocre reception at the box office, failing to make over ₹10 crore in its first two days of release. The sports drama made nearly ₹7 crore on its first day of release, but on its second day, it made just ₹24 lakh, according to the reports.

Maidaan Collection:

On Wednesday, the movie grossed ₹2.6 crore from its limited release. Maidaan grossed ₹4.5 crore nett in India on its first day for all languages. The movie has grossed ₹7.1 crore.

In comparison to Ajay’s previous releases, Maidaan’s first-day total—which includes paid previews—is over 50% lower. While his last month’s spooky movie Shaitaan debuted at a peak of Rs 14.75, his Drishyam 2 earned Rs 15.38 crore on its first day of sales. Even his action film Bholaa, which came out in March of last year, made Rs 11.20 crore at the box office. His 2022 Eid release Runway 34, which made Rs 3 cr, was the only other movie that had a lower opening than Maidaan.
