Chandu Champion is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language sports drama movie. The movie is directed by Kabir Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the banner of Kabir Khan Films, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and Star Studios. Kartik Aaryan and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles along with Bhuvan Arora, Palak Lalwani, Adonis Kapsalis, David Chrisman and Ritchi Edwards. The movie will hit in the theatres on 14 June 2024.

“Chandu Champion” is inspired by the incredible true story of a sportsman and his unwavering determination, captures the essence of resilience and perseverance. Set against the backdrop of real-life events Paralympic gold medalist Murlikant Petkar, the movie portrays the indomitable spirit of never giving up, even in the face of seemingly insurmountable challenges. From his humble beginnings wrestling in the rural landscapes of Maharashtra during his teenage years, to proudly representing India at the esteemed International Services Meet in Tokyo, his story is a testament to the human spirit’s ability to endure.
However, his trials did not end there. He found himself thrust into the chaos of war, bravely fighting against Pakistan and sustaining disabling injuries in the process. Yet, undeterred by his physical limitations, he pressed on. His ultimate triumph came in the form of a qualification for the prestigious Munich Olympics of 1972.
