Raayan is an upcoming Indian Tamil-language action thriller movie. The movie is directed by Dhanush and produced by Kalanithi Maran under the banner of Sun Pictures. The movie stars Dhanush, Sundeep Kishan, Kalidas Jayaram, SJ Suryah, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Aparna Balamurali in lead roles alongside Prakash Raj, Dushara Vijayan and Saravanan. The movie is slated to release in theatres 26 July 2024.
Raayan Synopsis:
The plot of the movie revolves around a humble young man, sets out to identify the killers in order to avenge his family’s death and his hunt takes him through an organized crime organization.
Following the murder of his family, a young man trains to avenge their deaths. In search of those guilty, he travels through the criminal underground.
Raayan Star Cast:
Raayan is Dhanush’s second directorial project, following his 2017 film Pa Paandi. However, Dhanush’s last film, Captain Miller, was not a tremendous success, therefore fans are curious to know if Raayan will be a big smash or not.
It depicts Dhanush’s blood-soaked entrance and other stars such as Kalidas and Sundeep in action, while Surya is shown in the dark. As a result, the trio’s performance captures the spotlight.
Screenplay:
Under the Sun Pictures banner, Dhanush wrote and directed the film, while Kalanithi Maran produced it. A. R. Rahman composed the music for the movie, while Om Prakash and Prasanna GK handled the cinematography and editing.
