Sidhu Moosewala a singer , rapper , lyricst and producer of punjabi industry has been shot dead by gangsters in an attack in village Jawahar ke , Punjab. He was 28 . Notedly , he joined Congress Party before punjab elections. Just a day after withdrawn of his security by Punjab Government, this incident has happened. In which vehicle he was travelling along with two others persons Gurwinder Singh (neighbour) and Gurpreet Singh (cousin) , 30 rounds were fired on the them by unidentified persons. Poloce team reached the spot soon after this incident and took the injured to hospital , where Sidhu Moosewala declared brought dead and two others are in stable condition. Police officials said about this incident that Moosewala passed away when he was taken to Mansa Civil Hospital. Sidhu Moosewala was on the radar of gangsters for long time. Police has also probing Canadian gang linked to Sidhu’s death. As Canada based gangster and close asdociate of Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi ,Goldy Brar claimed the responsibility of singer’s murder because the former has shared the post about same on his Instagram handle. The post reads,” Today, Moosewala was killed in Punjab, I, Sachin Bishnoi, Lawrence Bishnoi take the responsibility. It’s our work. Moosewala’s name surfaced in our brother Vikramjit Singh Middukhera and Gurlal Brar’s murder, but the Punjab Police did not take any action against him. We also came to know that Moosewala was also involved in the encounter of our associate Ankit Bhadu. Moosewala was working against us. Delhi Police had taken his name but Moosewala used his political power and saved his skin each time.”
Shubhdeep Singh popularly known by his stage name Sidhu Moosewala’s killing is seemed to be result of an inter-gang rivalry said by Punjab Director General of Police V K Bhawra . Police officials are investigating the killing and ADGP (Law and Order) has mobilised the required force to nab the murderers.
