Sonam Bajwa is a Former Air Hostess, Actress and Model, associated with Punjabi Film Industry. She was born in a Sikh family on August 16 ,1989  and her birthplace is Nanakmatta, Rudrapur, Uttarakhand, India. Sonam is an intense follower of Jesus, in fact, she was born into a sikh family and was believed to have been converted to Christianity. However, she later disclosed through a tweet that although she follows Jesus, but, she is not a religious Christian. She did her schooling at Jaycees Public School, Rudrapur, and graduated from Delhi University. Her parents are teachers in the profession. Her mother’s name is Ritu Bajwa and her twin brother’s name is Jaideep Bajwa. The real name of Sonam Bajwa  is Sonampreet Kaur Bajwa.

• She was inclined towards modelling from a very young age, she wanted to become Miss India.
• After graduation, she moved to Mumbai in 2012, where she participated in the Femina Miss India beauty contest.
• Although she could not win the competition, but, she was one of the finalists in it.
• Later, she also became an air hostess but left the job and followed her passion for acting.
• Bajwa started her acting career in 2013 with the Punjabi film ”Best Of Luck” along with Gippy Grewal, Jazzy B, and Binnu Dhillon.
• In 2014, she played the leading female role in the Punjabi Film ”Punjab 1984” along with Diljit Dosanjh.
• Bajwa also featured in many TV commercials of brands like Monte Carlo, Dish TV, Garnier, and many more.
• In 2016, she featured in the song Babu Bangaram from a Telugu movie, later in Tommy song from the Punjabi movie Shaddaa and Naah Goriye song from the Hindi movie Bala.

• She responded, “I’ll never do a kissing scene for any film, even if it is for a Hindi movie. In fact, that’s one of the reasons why I have not been doing Hindi movies. Because every second film in Bollywood has a requirement of a kissing scene.”
