Angry Young Men Series:
A documentary about two famous writers Salim Khan and Javed Akhtar. Salim Khan and Javed Akhtar, collectively known as Salim-Javed, were the biggest stars of Hindi cinema in the 1970s. On Tuesday, Amazon Prime Video released the trailer for the documentary Angry Young Men, which follows the life and career of Salim Khan and Javed Akhtar.
Salim-Javed wrote movies like Sholay, Deewaar, Trishul, Don, and Yaadon Ki Baaraat, among many others, and revolutionized the language of Hindi cinema.
Angry Young Men Salim-Javed:
Salim and Javed first collaborated to create the Rajesh Khanna film Haathi Mere Saathi, and they quickly established themselves as the only authors who always had a complete script before beginning a project.
Zanjeer, which debuted in 1973, introduced them to Amitabh Bachchan. Zanjeer was Bachchan’s first smash, and the trio quickly formed a team in which Bachchan became linked with the persona of the ‘angry young man’, who was frequently referred to as Vijay.
